Hosting & Cloud (AWS)
A secure home for your website and applications. We set up servers and cloud infrastructure with security built in from day one, then keep them monitored, updated and backed up.
Two ways to host
- A dedicated server: for websites and typical applications. A fast, affordable server with a reputable provider, hardened and kept up to date.
- Amazon Web Services (AWS): for applications that need to grow. From a single secured server to a full production setup with a managed database, file storage and a global CDN.
What we set up
- Hardened by default: automatic security updates, key-only administrator access, a firewall that opens only what is needed, and HTTPS with security headers.
- Cloudflare in front: DNS, HTTPS and protection against common attacks.
- On AWS: a private network, a managed database (RDS) in a private subnet, file storage (S3) with no public access, fast delivery through CloudFront, and access through roles, never shared passwords.
- Infrastructure as code: your AWS setup is written in Terraform, so it can be rebuilt the same way in minutes.
Kept running
- Monitoring: availability checks every few minutes, with an alert if something goes down; disk, memory and certificate expiry watched.
- Updates: monthly security patching and planned restarts.
- Backups: daily, encrypted copies kept offsite, with a restore test every quarter.
- Monthly report: what happened, what we updated and, on AWS, what it cost and how to spend less.
Your accounts stay yours
Servers and AWS accounts are set up in your company’s name. You own the infrastructure and pay the provider directly; we manage it for you. If you ever move on, everything stays with you.
How it works
Setup usually takes 2–5 working days, for a fixed price. Monitoring and maintenance are optional monthly plans.
